Under the food table in the gym, Seth is hiding from a girl he’s obsessed with. Not his date (best friend Wanda) but a mysterious girl sitting alone in the bleachers. He’s terrified to go back on the dance floor, for reasons he explains to Madison, who also finds herself under the food table after her date, Cory, wandered off to make out with Jendrix. But how do you jump back in when you don’t like the role your classmates have cast you in?
