Before the prom, at home, Jane is almost ready to shine, no matter how cheap her dress looks or what happened to her at last year’s dance. If only her date, Johnny – who arrives in his dad’s rusty pickup truck, and who is definitely not hung up on being poor – would put his tux on. She’s waited for years for this. What if he doesn’t want to go?
